Jerry Henderson, 60 years old, died Wednesday, February 24, 2016. He is survived by his brother, Jay Henderson, and his sister, Sherron Kell. Visitation will be Saturday, February 27th from 10-11:30 am at Ridout's Valley Chapel, 1800 Oxmoor Road, Homewood, AL. A private family service will be held at the graveside afterward. Jerry owned the Oxmoor Chevron for decades located at the corner of Oxmoor Road and Interstate 65. He loved bass fishing, flying and building radio-controlled airplanes and helicopters, was a 20 year member of the Birmingham RC Helicopter Club, loved riding motorcycles with the Southern Cruiser Motorcycle Club and was loved by many people wherever he went, and affectionately known as "Jughead
