Jimmie Parris Stutts

STUTTS, JIMMIE LOUCILLE PARRIS, age 90, passed away Saturday, September 25, 2010. She was a native of Albertville, Alabama, having lived in Mountain Brook, Alabama since 1959. Mrs. Stutts retired from the Mountain Brook School system, having taught second grade at Crestline School for 25 years. She was a graduate of Jacksonville State University and did her graduate work at The University of Alabama. She served in the United States Navy during World War II. Mrs. Stutts was a member of Mountain Brook Baptist Church and the Joy Sunday School Class. Mrs. Stutts was preceded in death by her husband, Steve C. Stutts, her parents James T. Parris and Lou Patterson Parris and grandson, Matthew C. Stutts. She is survived by her son, Stephen Christian Stutts, and her granddaughter Meredith Kennedy Stutts. A memorial service will be held in the Chapel of Mountain Brook Baptist Church at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 28, 2010 with Dr. James Moebes officiating.
