John Solomon Loane

John Solomon Loane, age 24 of Vestavia Hills passed away on Saturday, September 3, 2016. He was born in Oshawa, Ontario Canada on June 26, 1992 to Graham and Sharon Loane. In 1998 the family moved to the United States, living in West Minster, Maryland, Oak Ridge TN, and Merritt Island, FL before settling in Vestavia Hills. In 2011 John joined the US Army and was in Afghanistan. John loved being outside especially surfing, being a life guard and trying out for the Jr. Olympics in swimming.

John was preceded in death by his grandfathers: Ross Alloway and George Loane; his uncles: David Loane and John Alloway and his wife Joyce. He is survived by his parents: Graham and Sharon Loane,; his brother Jesse Loane; grandmothers: Ruth Alloway and Margaret Loane; aunt Eliz Loane (Les)and uncles: Phil Alloway (Brigitte) and David Alloway (Joan). John is also survived by several cousins Michele (Andy) Bork , Julian (Jenny) Alloway, David (Doro) Alloway, Claire-Madeleine Alloway, Matthaeu (Kara) Alloway, Malisha (Dylan) Spooner, Makaila Alloway, Seth Alloway, Honor Alloway and Noah Alloway.

The memorial service will be on Saturday, September 10, 2016 at 10:00AM at Liberty Park Baptist Church. The family will receive friends following the service.
