Joseph T. Limbaugh

Joseph T. Limbaugh, Sr. age 89 of Mountain Brook, Alabama died September 17, 2013. He was born in Birmingham, Alabama on November 24, 1923. He was a veteran of World War II, and earned his law degree from the University of Alabama. He founded Limbaugh and Company Insurance Adjusters, located in Birmingham, Alabama, where he managed and practiced for over 40 years. He was preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn C. Limbaugh, his parents Peter Jefferson and Kate Stone Limbaugh, his brothers Peter Jackson “Jack” Limbaugh, Robert Stone “Bob” Limbaugh, John Samuel Limbaugh, Clarence Edward Limbaugh, Paul Marion Limbaugh and sisters Madge Rowena Powers, Linda Kate “Nancy” Parr, Carolyn Ethel Cooper, Rebecca Ann Beaman.

He is survived by his children Jane Brakefield (Buddy), Joseph T. Limbaugh, Jr. (Gene), Jill Real (Gary) , grandchildren Joseph T. Limbaugh, III (Meaghan) , Gene Austin Webb (Van), Jane Kate Real, H. Cooper Real, great grand children, Mary Eason Limbaugh, and Joseph T. Limbaugh, IV, sister Sara Frances Lindsey, and brothers Billy Charles “Bill” Limbaugh, and Donald Patrick “Don” Limbaugh.

He was a devoted family man whose sense of humor will be greatly missed.

Funeral Services will be held at 11 AM on Friday September 20, 2013 at Ridout’s Valley Chapel with a visitation at 10 AM. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery. Onlie condolences may be made at www.ridoutsvalleychapel.com.
