NICHOLS, JOSEPH J. was born on May 9, 1933 and passed away on April 24, 2012. He served in the United States Air Force and was stationed in Japan. He was District Manager for Lehr and Fink, a division of National Lab and also worked for Alabama Paper and Metal Ware. Joseph was preceded in death by his wife Pat Nichols and a son John Nichols. He is survived by his son Jack Nichols of Texas; sisters: Sylvia Fox, Martha Ann Travis and Miriam Farmer and by several nieces and nephews. He will be truly missed by his family and friends. Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 3rd from 5 until 7 p.m. at Ridout's Valley Chapel. Funeral mass will be on Friday, May 4th at 10:00 a.m. also at Ridout's Valley Chapel. Burial will follow at Alabama National Cemetery at 12:30 p.m.
