

Stewart was born in Birmingham, Alabama and lived in Mountain Brook, AL the majority of his life. He passed away peacefully at the age of 37. Stewart was an avid dog lover, especially Golden Retrievers. He adored his furry companions Marley and Tess and loved to spoil them rotten. Stewart loved collecting music and going to live concerts, he was a fantastic snow skier and enjoyed skiing out west, he was an avid golfer and followed the sport closely, photography became a passion and he enjoyed reading. Spending time with his family was very important to him and they often enjoyed beach trips together. His childhood friends grew into lifelong friends and were a very important part of his life. Stewart graduated from Mountain Brook High School in the Class of 1997. He then attended The University of Colorado Boulder and graduated from The University of Alabama where he received a Bachelor of Science in Commerce & Business in 2001. He was a member of St. Mary's-on-the-Highlands Episcopal Church in Birmingham. He helped instigate the initiative for Curing Childhood Cancer license plates that raises money for The Alabama Center for Childhood Cancer and Blood Disorders. He was a member of the Monday Morning Quarterback Club and the Country Club of Birmingham. Stewart is survived by his father, William Parker Mead Silsbee, Jr, his mother, Chase Falt Silsbee and his brother, William Parker Mead Silsbee, III (Laura), his nephews, William Parker Mead Silsbee, IV, Charles Byron Silsbee, Lassiter Jeremiah Silsbee and his godson, James Chappell Puckett, III. He is survived by his uncle Joseph Byron Falt, III (Christi), his aunts, Sarah Hurley Campistol (Pere), Martha Falt Priddy, Millie Barclift Tucker (Dale) and his cousins Amanda Priddy Berkey (Chris), Elizabeth Anne Falt, Cristina Campistol Gann (Justin) and Marti Campistol (Ana), Scott Lehman Tucker (Lauren), Mark Hearne Tucker (Heather) and Kelly Barclift Tucker. He is preceded in death of his paternal grandparents, William Parker Mead Silsbee, Sr, Sarah Hurley Silsbee and Ruth Barclift Silsbee, and his maternal grandparents Joseph Byron Falt, Jr. and Anne Stewart Falt, and his niece, Mary Silsbee and nephew, Joseph Silsbee, and aunt Leila Stewart Falt. Donations may be made in memory of Stewart to Adopt a Golden Birmingham, The Greater Birmingham Humane Society or The American Society for the Prevention of Animal Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA). Stewart will be greatly missed by those that knew and loved him.
