Kimberly was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend. She had a special gift for making any room warmer with her presence, brighter with her humor, and fuller with her infectious laughter. Her true calling in life was caring for her family and being the steady rock that others could always lean on.
Always ready for an outing, you could call Kimberly at any moment and ask her to run errands with you - she’d be happy to go. She cherished time with family and friends, was eager to lend a hand, and often spotted a need before anyone else did, stepping in quietly to fill it. Whether the challenge was big or small, she stood right beside you through every storm, never shying away from the hard moments.
Kimberly was welcomed home by many cherished loved ones who preceded her, including her parents, Sims and Jo Ann Busby, and her sister, Sheree Gregory.
She is survived by her loving husband of 36 years, Wayne Turner; her three children, Tiffani (Travis), Jake (Ashley), and Cruz; her beloved grandchildren, Hunter, Logan, Laci, Ava, Joelle, Jordan, Ryder, Willa, Lincoln, and Tilly; her nephew, Brock (Shea); her nieces, Leslie (Donnie) and Joanna (Blaine); and her great-niece, Trinity (Justin). She also leaves behind a host of extended family and friends whose lives she touched deeply.
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, March 5, 2026 at Ridout’s Valley Chapel in Homewood. Visitation will be at 12:00 p.m. with funeral service at 1:00 p.m. Burial will be at Elmwood Cemetery following.
