Larry Richard Gibb, Sr., 79, went home to be with his Lord and Savior November 1, 2016. He was a Deacon at Canaan Baptist Church and a former member of Vinesville Baptist Church. He retired from Thompson Tractor, Co. and also served in the US Army during the Korean War. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Linda Johnson Gibb, 3 children Leisa Greene (David), Larry (Rick) Gibb, Jr. (Wendy), and Jeff Gibb. 3 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren. He loved the Lord and will be missed by his family and church friends. The family will receive friends on November 3, 2016 1-2 at Ridout's Valley Chapel, Homewood. Funeral Service will follow at 2. Rev. Morgan Bailey will officiate.
