Louise Kimbrell

She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 56 years, Gordon Kimbrell, her parents, Dollie and Dennis Phillips and her six siblings.

Louise is survived by her only child Jan Cash and her son-in-law Stan Cash, whom she loved as if a son. She considered her greatest accomplishment in life as being a loving wife, mother and homemaker. Later in life, she returned to retail management and accounting.

She cherished her many friends and had a positive impact on everyone she met. Her mantra in life was to “be kinder than necessary because you never know what someone else might be going through.”

She was an active member of Shades Crest Baptist Church where she participated in many activities, including the Women’s Organization and senior choir. She engaged in volunteer work, gardening, cooking and reading. She appreciated beauty in all life even to the smallest detail. Her family and friends are forever grateful for the legacy of love and caring she gave throughout the years.

A graveside service was held at Elmwood Cemetery. Donations in her name to a charity of your choice are appreciated.
