Margaret Fuller Brock

She was a graduate of Fairfield High School and attended the University of Montevallo. Mrs. Brock was a lifetime member of Vestavia Hills United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Women. She also enjoyed many years and held different positions with the Vestavia Hills Garden Club, Red Maple Garden Club, Vestavia Hills Historical Society, Birmingham Opera Guild, Amulets Dance Club, The Club and Birmingham Metropolitan Dinner Club.

Mrs. Brock was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years Oliver Franklin Brock, II; her granddaughter Margaret Ashleigh Nutter and her grandson Jared Northcutt Nutter. She is survived by her daughter Vicki Brock Nutter (Jack); her son O. Frank Brock, Jr., (Suzanne); and her grandsons Jack Brock Nutter (Jamie), Oliver Neal Brock (Ginny), Andrew Coleman Brock (Kelly) and Stuart Franklin Brock (Kelsey) and her 6 great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends in the Chapel of Vestavia Hills United Methodist Church on Wednesday, April 13, 2016 beginning at 12:00 p.m., with the funeral service following at 1:00 p.m. A private graveside service will follow.

In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials in memory of Margaret F. Brock be made to Vestavia Hills United Methodist Church.
