Michael Bayne Cartee

Michael passed away on June 14, 2013 in Homewood, Alabama. He was a graduate of Auburn High School. Mike enjoyed cooking, surfing, heavy metal music, and rebuilding Triumph Spitfire convertibles. He cherished his dogs Ginger and Shayla. Mike was baptized, Dec 22, 2011. Mike was preceded in death by his mother Betty Carol Thompson Cartee and his grandmother Lola Thompson. He is survived by his loving father, Robert Earl Cartee, Sister Lainie Cartee, Brother Andy Cartee (Keri), and Robert (Tara). Step sisters and step brothers, Laura Upchurch (Michael), Erin Wingard (Trey), Douglas Cartee, Ryann Cartee, and Britton Cartee. He is survived by his nieces and nephew Caleb Cartee, Chloe Cartee, Marissa Cartee, Miranda Cartee and Kaelynn Upchurch. He will be missed by the following aunts and uncles, Ruby Powell, Ann Creasman (Beecher), Kris Cartee, Jean Lester (Tommy), and Sharon McLees Kohler. Mike had many special cousins and friends. Memorial services will be 11:00 Thursday June 20, 2013 at Dawson Family of Faith in Homewood, Al. In Lieu of flowers donations may be made in Michael's name to Changed Lives Christian Center.
