CALLAWAY, PATRICIA ANN HARPER Patricia Ann Harper Callaway, age 74, of Vestavia Hills, Al and formerly Dothan, Al died on January 7, 2011. Born in Hollywood, Ca to parents, Sara F. and William R. Harper, Sr. who preceded he in death. She is survived by brother, William R. Harper, Jr.; children, Jack Callaway (Mary), Kim Callaway Schnell, Kendall Callaway Boggs (Lynn) and Clay Callaway (Valma); grandchildren, Sally Callaway, Elliott Callaway, Lewis Callaway, Keelyn Callaway and John Callaway, Tyler Schnell, Ally Schnell, Jackson Schnell and Harper Schnell, Jordon Boggs Elkins (Eric), Gregory Boggs, Callen Boggs, Cal Callaway and Claire Callaway. She is also survived by her precious great grandchildren, Evelyn Elkins and Bennett Elkins in addition to the love of her life, her dog Lucy. Patricia attended Auburn University where she was a member of Kappa Delta Sorority. She was employed for 25 years with Southeastern Regional Medical Center where she was a pulmonary technologist. She was an avid seamstress and specialized in handmade children's clothing. She also served on the board of the American Lung Association. The family will receive friends at Ridout's Valley Chapel in Homewood on Sunday January 9, 2011 from 1:00 until 2:00. Funeral service will be at 2:00 in the chapel followed by a private burial at Elmwood Cemetery. The family asks , in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Arthritis Foundation .
