He was predeceased by his parents, Patrick Herndon and Margaret Lenz Browne, Sr. Pat attended Auburn University and received his M.S. in Electrical Engineering in 1965. While at Auburn he was a member of Alpha Tau Omega Fraternity. He worked for many years in the Washington, D. C. Area before returning to Birmingham after retirement.
He is survived by his wife, Jean M. Jarvis, her daughter Christy L. Schatz (Edward), her grandsons Joshua Holderness and Peter Holderness,
his cousin Sheron Smith Bolen (William) and several cousins.
Graveside services will be held at Elmwood Cemetery on Tuesday, November 22, 2016 at 11:00 AM. -
