Robert was preceded in death by his mother Betty Jo Clay Carter. He is survived by his father: William D.(Fran) Helms; children: Nicholas Helms (Julie Carter) and Jordyn Helms; sisters: Cindy (Stephen) Holmes, Patti Benchetrit, Tammy (Robert) Purdy and Troy Helms and by several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 5, 2017 at Ridout’s Valley Chapel from 10 until 11:00 a.m. with the funeral service at 11:00 a.m.
