Robert W. "Bob" Henderson

Robert W. "Bob" Henderson, age 66 of Birmingham passed away suddenly on April 3, 2014. He was born March 20, 1948 in Birmingham, Alabama to Frank Eugene Henderson,Sr. and Aline Henderson, who preceded him in death. He graduated from John Carroll Catholic High School and received a degree in business from Auburn University. Bob is survived by his brother Jim Henderson of Burke, VA, his children Lisa Lovell (Dan) of Birmingham, AL, Wendy Kleha (Frank) of Roswell, Ga, Colby Henderson and Haley Henderson of Birmingham, AL. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Bob was preceded in death by his brother Frank Eugene Henderson, Jr. He was a long time member of Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church where he was very active and spent numerous hours volunteering. He could also be found at the school interacting with all the children where he was known as "Mr. Bob". He was a member of the OLS Church Choir, the Knights of Columbus Council 4304, and of the 4th Degree Knight Assembly 1288. Services will be Monday, April 7th at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, visitation beginning at 1pm, followed by Mass at 2pm. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Our Lady Of Sorrows Church, Homewood, AL. Arrangements under the direction of Ridout's Valley Chapel, Homewood, AL.
