Age 60 of Birmingham, AL passed away on September 8, 2012.
He attended W. A. Berry High School in Hoover, AL and had a long career at Harbert Construction. He resettled in Homewood and spent the last, and perhaps most rewarding, years of his life working at Huffstutlers Hardware in Homewood and enjoying his family and friends, his town, and his love of photography.
He was predeceased by Robert Donald and Gloria Autrey Ward. He is survived by his sister, Cindi Ward Denson; his children Jennifer Marie Ward, Robert Duane Ward, Elizabeth Grace Ann Ward and Micah Andrew Lee Ward, and his grandsons Lucas, Nathan, Devin, Brian, and Zach.
The family will receive friends at Ridout’s Valley Chapel on Thursday, September 13, 2012 beginning at 10:00 a.m. with the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be at Elmwood Cemetery.
