Stacy Howell, age 53 of Homewood, loving husband and father, passed away on May 3, 2011. Growing up in Alexander City he was Eagle Scout and loved spending time on Lake Martin with his family and friends. After graduating from Auburn University he pursued his career in Birmingham. He is preceded in death by his mother Anne Howell. He is survived by his wife, Diane, daughter, Windy Flynt (Scott), and 2 sons Jake and Matthew; grandchildren Gregory and Megan; father and step-mother Scott and Betsy; Brothers Scotty (Jane) and Dave (Theresa) and sister Elizabeth Strickland (John); nieces, nephews, and extended family who will always love and cherish him.
A memorial service will be held on Friday May 6th at Ridouts Valley Chapel in Homewood. Visitation will begin at 4:30 with the service following at 6:00. Services are under the direction of Ridout’s Valley Chapel (879-3401) Homewood.
