Sue Fong Loo

Mrs. Sue Fong Loo of Hoover passed away peacefully on Saturday, the 11th of December 2021. She was 94 years of age. Born in Canton, China, Mrs. Loo and her husband were the owners of Mr. Loo's Chinese Restaurant. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wah Hing Loo and by her son, Phillip Ben Loo. She is survived by her five children, Helen Loo Robinson, Jack Ben Loo, Annie Loo, Judy Loo, and Paul Ben Loo. She is also survived by her three grandchildren, Christy Davis (Chris), Ashley Sotomayor (Sean), and Elliott Glover; and by her great granddaughter, Emma Loo Schaffer.

Friends are invited to attend graveside services commencing at eleven o'clock in the morning on Thursday, the 16th of December, at Elmwood Cemetery. Friends are also cordially invited to the reception with the family immediately following at Ridout's Valley Chapel located at 1800 Oxmoor Road, Homewood, Alabama 35209.

In lieu of usual remembrances, memorials honoring the life of Mrs. Loo may be directed to the American Diabetes Association located at 3918 Montclair Road, Mountain Brook, Alabama 35213.
