Corporate assignments included New York City, Houston, and Chicago. They took many delightful trips the world over. Home and family were the most important things in her life. Her degrees enhanced her talents for a life of home-making, hospitality, and caring for children. Sue was an active church and community volunteer everywhere she lived. Sue and Bill returned to her childhood home in Mt. Brook after retirement where she continued her membership at IPC, and was involved in several community organizations. Sue was passionate about her grandchildren, Auburn football, Golden Retrievers, entertaining, and the tranquility of Santa Rosa Beach, Florida, where she would spend hours walking and soaking in its peaceful views.
