Wayne Williamson died at home on July 29, 2022. She was born on February 11, 1935 in Tallassee Alabama. She grew up in Tallassee, graduating from Tallassee High School in 1953 and a graduate from Alverson Draughon Business College in 1954. Wayne and Frank Murry Williamson were married on June 23,1953.
She and her family have lived in various cities in Georgia, Tennessee and Alabama. Most recently in Chelsea, Alabama for 22 years and at present in the Eagle Point neighborhood.
Wayne was a great cook, an accomplished seamstress, a Master Gardener, a lover of cats and dogs, an artist and she loved to photograph her gardens.
She was predeceased by her parents Truman and Texie Golden Warren and her children Kerry and Emily. Wayne is survived by her husband of 69 years Murry, her son Thom (wife Faye) and her grandsons J.T. Williamson (wife Jamie), Drew Hoffman (wife Lauren), and a great granddaughter.
Graveside service will be held at Alabama National Cemetery in Montevallo on August 5, 2022 at 11:00a.m.
