Angelina Ferrari, 94, of Homosassa, FL, passed away on Mon., May 7, 23018 at Oak Hill Hospital in Brooksville. A native of Naples, Italy, she was born Jan. 6, 1924 to Joseph and Balbina Mirabella, one of five children. Angelina moved to Homosassa from Seaford, L.I., NY 41 years ago and enjoyed a long career as a store manager for Montgomery Ward in the Seaford area. Angelina was a talented and gifted singer who also loved to play cards. She enjoyed her love of the game of golf as a member of Sugarmill Woods Golf and Country Club and held the distinction of attaining two holes in one during her life. She was also an excellent dancer; loved line dancing and was a member of the Ladies of the Elks in Homosassa. Angelina was a devout and faithful parishioner of St. Thomas The Apostle Catholic Church in Homosassa and is survived by her three sons: Stephen Ferrari (wife Pamela), Greenport, NY; Ray Ferrari (wife Patricia), Fairfax, VA and Richard Ferrari (wife Beth), Saratoga, CA; sister Olga Sylvester, Lecanto, FL; grandchildren Michael, Daniel, Matthew, Benjamin, Gabriel, Joshua, Sarah and Alyssia and great grandchildren Kaiden, Bowen and Adeline, as well and her many loving friends and neighbors of Sugarmill Woods. Angelina was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Raymond Ferrari, on Oct. 18, 2014 and three siblings, Skip, Phil and Mary. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Fri., May 11, 2018 at 1100 A.M. from St. Thomas The Apostle Catholic Church, Homosassa, FL with Fr. Ronald Marecki, Celebrant.
