Arlene A. Stratton, 91, of Homosassa, passed away on Sat., March 8, 2014 at Cypress Cove Care Center in Crystal River. A native of Sioux Falls, SD, she was born Nov. 13, 1922 to Roy and Rose (Whorley) Arneson, one of three children. Arlene was a lifelong homemaker and moved here in 1986 from Villa Park, ILL. She was a member of Sugarmill Woods Golf and Country Club; a former member of the PEO and very much loved to line dance every Friday night at the Elks Lodge in Brooksville. Mrs. Stratton is survived by her husband of 69 years, Thomas G. Stratton, Homosassa; son Thomas G. Stratton, Jr. (wife Jan), Moravian Falls, NC; daughter Barbara Erdell (husband Robert), Downers Grove, ILL; son Jimmy Stratton (wife Insuk), Citra, FL; grandchildren Debbie, Ryan, Samantha, Rebecca, Rachel, and Ruth; great grandchildren Leslie, Andy and Layla and great great grandchild Michael. Arlene was preceded in death by her siblings, Roy and Violet. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, March 13, 2014 at 7:00 P.M. at Wilder Funeral Home, Homosassa. www.wilderfuneral.com
