Claire Therese Gould

Claire T. (Perreault) Gould, 83 of Homosassa, FL, died Friday October 28, 2022. She was born in Pawtucket, RI on July 25, 1939 to the late Edmond J. and Alice (Labrecque) Perreault, where she graduated high school from St. Jean Baptiste Academy. On April 4, 1959 Claire married her husband Gordon M. Gould.

Claire had a 44 year career in Banking at Pawtucket Credit Union. She was a member of Darlington Braves as their first female voting Board Member and she was instrumental in getting the Braves Bingo started. Claire also belonged to the Cub Scouts and St. Cecilia’s Church Choir and had a passion for reading, travel, youth sports and spending time with family and friends.

Claire is survived by her husband Gordon; children, Linda C. DeRosa (Homosassa, FL), Gary G. Gould (The Villages, FL) and Kevin & Collen Gould (Alachua, FL); grandchildren, Benjamin Gould (Hope Valley, RI), Matthew Gould (Gainesville, FL), Nathan Gould (Tampa, FL), Brendon Gould (Clarkesville, TN), Zachary Ferreira; and sister Pauline A Murphy (Wakefield, RI).
