Donald Ray Lane, 67 of Homosassa, FL died Sunday, June 5th, 2011 at Citrus Memorial Hospital in Inverness. Born January 2nd, 1944 in Cincinnati, Ohio and moved to this area 18 years ago from Belleair, Florida. Donald was a retired mechanical engineer and Navy veteran of Vietnam. He as a member of Gulf to Lake Church of Crystal River, the Black Powder Club and a Harley Rider.
He is survived by his wife of 28 years Diane M. Lane of Homosassa.
Funeral services will be held 6 pm, Wednesday, June 8, 2011 at Wilder Funeral Home, Homosassa, Florida. Friends will be received from 5 pm Wednesday until the hour of service. Private burial will be held at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell at a later date. Donation in memory of Donald may be given to St Joseph's Indian School, 1301 N.
