Husband and father who so loved his wife Gene and children, Richard and the late John; step-children Christina, Thomas and the late Michael and their families.
Ed was a much decorated hero in WW II even receiving the distinguish Air Medal and two Purple Hearts. He will be buried with military honors at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m., Monday, Sept. 13, 2010 at Wilder Funeral Home, Homosassa Springs. Friends will be received from 10 a. m., Monday until the hour of service. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations be made to Hospice of Citrus County, P. O. Box 641270, Beverly Hills, FL 34464.
