Helen C. Hudson 92, of Homosassa, FL died Friday, Feb. 5, 2010. Born November 4, 1917 in Ft Wayne, IN and moved to Homosassa 10 years ago from Indian River County, FL. Attended the University of Indianapolis and received her Bachelor’s
Degree from Ball State University. Helen was the former owner of a hardware store in Auburn, IN and a retired special needs Teacher for Indian River County, FL. A member of the First United Methodist Church of Homosassa. Preceded in death by her husband of 67 years Ralph Hudson and son Joseph D. Hudson. Survived by her daughter Carol Patrick of Battle Ground, IN; four grandchildren, Julie Arnau, Jill Anderson, Mitchell Hudson and Joanne Hampton; four great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at a later date at the United Methodist Church in Otterbein, IN. Memorials may be given to Hospice of Citrus County in memory of Helen.
