

Judy Anne Callahan, 36, of Lexington, Kentucky, passed away on Mon., July 24, 2023. Born in Salisbury, Maryland on May 14, 1987, Judy was raised in Homosassa, Florida, then moved to Ft. Lauderdale when she was 15 years old and lived there for many years. She then moved to Kentucky in her 30’s and started pursuing her online degree in business. Judy was a free spirit that was always on the go. Judy was extremely compassionate for all animals. Growing up she always had a wide variety of pets and had a great love for dogs, especially German Shepherds. Horses were her favorite though; she loved them with all her heart. She trained them and was a horse show blue ribbon winner. Horseback riding was her overall passion in life. Her other interests in life were gymnastics and dance were she was very talented and even competed. She also loved creating artwork. Judy had a personality that brought light and joy everywhere she went. Judy had a great love for the Haitian culture. She went by the name Ju-Ju. Judy was preceded in death by her mother, Kim Kubacky; uncle Joseph Kubacky and cousin Jake Costello. She is survived by her daughter Harlee Branham and her son Christain Kehrt; her four siblings: Jessica Grandez (Ernesto) and Amanda Solar (German), both of Maryland; Angelica Solar (Kyle) of Florida and Christopher Callahan (Erica) of Florida; her stepfather, Melvin Solar of Florida; and her aunts Colleen Costello and her husband Jerry of Florida and Traci Kubacky of Pennsylvania. Friends will be received on Saturday, August 12, 2023 from 11:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. at Wilder Funeral Home, where a Celebration of Life will begin at 12:00 P.M. with Pastor Patti Aupperlee officiating. www.wilderfuneral.com
