

Kathleen M. “Kay” Anderson, 92, of Homosassa, FL and formerly of Sturbridge, MA, passed away on Aug. 31, 2015 in Brooksville, FL. A native of Worcester, MA, she was born May 1, 1923 to John F. and Kathleen R. (Pryce) Sullivan, one of four children. Kay, as she was known to many, was a lifelong homemaker, but also was a computer operator during her life with companies such as Riley Stoker and A & P Supermarkets. She moved to Homosassa from Sturbridge in 1989 and attended St. Thomas The Apostle Catholic Church in Homosassa. She dearly loved her relationship with St. Vincent de Paul Society in Spring Hill, Florida, where she was devoted to service to their Food Pantry. Kay is survived by her two sons, John and Brian Anderson of Worcester, MA; sisters-in-law Jackie Sullivan of Oxford, MA and Marie Sullivan of Cape Cod, MA; grandchildren Sean Anderson, Tara Letourneau (husband Michael), and Brett Anderson, all of Worcester. MA and great grandchildren Ryan Lord and Arianna Letourneau, also of Worcester, MA. Mrs. Anderson was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Willard George “Andy” Anderson, on Oct. 25, 2000 and brothers David, Thomas and John Sullivan. Friends will be received on Fri., Sept. 4, 2015 from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM at Wilder Funeral Home, Homosassa, FL. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, Sept. 4, 2015 at 1:30 P.M. from St. Thomas The Apostle Catholic Church, Homosassa with Fr. Ronald Marecki, Celebrant.
