

Lawrence G. Danback, 77, of Dunnellon, FL, passed away on Wed., Jan. 28, 2015 at his daughter Terry’s home. A native of Elyria, Ohio, he was born Dec. 16, 1937 to Fred and Jessie (Lister) Danback, one of three children. Mr. Danback was a 50 year resident of Citrus County, both in Chassahowitzka, FL and Dunnellon, having moved here from Streetsboro, Ohio. He was a professional residential painter, with both Deltona Corporation and Modern Paint Company, having left his mark on many homes in the Pine Ridge and Beverly Hills areas. He was also the former owner and operator of River Oak Painting. Larry served his country in the U.S. Army from 1961 to 1963. He is survived by his three children: Larry Danback, Lecanto, FL; Terry Bull (husband Steven), Homosassa, FL and Melissa Danback, Dunnellon; four stepchildren: Janet Clark (husband Bernie), North Carolina; Sandra Tarry, North Port, FL; David Tarry (wife Mary), Homosassa and Vickie Kipp (husband Terry), Bradenton, FL; former wife and mother of Larry, Terry and Melissa, Harlene Wagner; loving companion of 37 years, Virginia “Louise” Tarry, Dunnellon; grandchildren Brandon Smith (wife Nicole), Lindsay Veres (husband David), Douglas Danback (wife Mandy), Rachel and Kayla Smith, Bailey Brockway, Dustin Danback, Shyla Taylor, David Tarry, Tiffany Coogan (husband Christopher) and Amy Kipp (husband Donnie).; great grandchildren Brayden Smith, Madalyn Danback and Paxton Veres and several step grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Mr. Danback was preceded in death by a brother, Fred Danback, sister Dorothy McCarthy and a daughter-in-law, Donna Danback. Friends will be received on Sun., Feb.1, 2015 from 2:00 to 5:00 P.M. at Wilder Funeral Home, Homosassa. Graveside service will take place on Mon., Feb. 2, 2015 at 3:00 P.M. at Fountains Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel with Rev. Steven Geary officiating.
