Margaret Peggy or Peg I. Allen Busby

20 août , 19329 septembre , 2011

Margaret I. Busby, 79, of Homosassa, went home peacefully on Fri., Sept. 9, 2011 at her home surrounded by family. A native of Rochester, NY, she was born Aug. 20, 1932 to Floyd and Lena (Hall) Allen. Margaret moved here 20 years ago from Pittsburgh, PA, had many interests and passions in her life, including bowling, sewing, crocheting, billiards, horseshoes, dancing, riding horses, playing cards and the Game Show Network. She also loved her yearly trips to Las Vegas and was an avid Tampa Bay Buccaneer fan. She always had a smile on her face and a hand to lend without complaint. She was an independent, loving, courageous woman and the best Mother anyone could ask for. She fought a long hard battle and finally has her wings, peace, no more pain and will always be in our hearts and missed by so many. Margaret is survived by her six children; Darlene Lech (husband Ray), Pittsburgh PA; Julia A. West, Homosassa; Teresa Busby, Crystal River; William Busby, II, Lecanto; Roberta Busby, Beverly Hills and James Busby, Homosassa; as well as her sister Dorothy Templeton, Baltimore, MD; 20 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Peggy was preceded in death by her husband The Late William Busby, on Oct. 30, 1998 and a brother, The Late William Allen. A Memorial Service of Remembrance for Margaret will be held on September 20, 2011 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Wilder Funeral Home, Homosassa Springs, with Rev Alan Ritter officiating the service at 5:30 p.m. www.wilderfuneral.com

Mom,

I love you and I thank you for all you have done for me and all that you have taught me. There is no other that can compare to you.

You loved and you gave without ever expecting anything back. I love you so much and there are no words to express what you have done for me and my siplings.

Mom, all I have to say right now is that you are the greatest person I have ever know and thank you so much for everything you have done for me my child and all my siplings.

There is no other person as far as I'm concerned greater than you. I love you dearly and I miss you. You were always there no matter what!!!

It's been too long since the family got together. Glad to see everybody came together recently during her last days.

I miss Aunt Peg already. We are all so much better for her being in our lives. She taught us how to survive with love and compassion; graced with tough love and humor when necessary. I'll miss the chats we had talking about my mom. I learned a whole other side of mom! My prayers and support go out to my cousins. We are here if you need us. Remember that.
