Margaret Ann Donnelly Grunsky

Margaret Ann Donnelly Grunsky, 89 of Homosassa FL, died Nov. 1, 2010 at Sugar Mill Manor, Homosassa. Born in Colo, Iowa and moved to Homosassa in 1980 from Luling, LA. Margaret was proud of her farming and Irish heritage. She received her RN from Santa Rosa Hospital in San Antonio TX. She was a public school nurse in Iowa and Louisiana. She was a member of St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, St. Thomas Ladies Guild, St. Vincent dePaul Society, A Eucharistic Minister, Hospice volunteer, Hospice bereavement group, Sugarmill Woods Country Club, Ladies Golf Club and various bridge clubs.

Margaret is preceded in death of her husband of 55 years, Harold J. and son John F. Grunsky.

She is survived by two sons Albert t. (Marta) Grunsky of Snowmish, WA and James P. Grunsky of Orlando, FL., three daughters; Kathleen G. (Robert) Oleson of Little Rock, AR, Margaret A. (Glenn) Roy of Mandeville LA and Mary Jane (Bill) Hendryx of the Woodlands TX., five grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Friends will be received Thursday, Nov. 4, 2010 from 5:30 PM until 7:30 PM at Wilder Funeral Home, Homosassa Springs. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2 PM Friday, Nov 5, 2010 at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church with Father Ronald Marecki, Celebrant.

The family would like to thank the staff of Sugar Mill Manor, HPH Hospice and Comfort Keepers for their loving care of our mother.
