Marjorie Faye Tobin, 77 of Homosassa, FL died Tuesday, Sept. 21, 2010 at her home under the care of her family and Hospice. Born March 8 1933, in Winter Haven, FL, daughter of the late Ronald B. and Doris (Weaver) Coatney. She moved to Sugarmill Woods 10 years ago from Atlanta, GA, and was a member of the Sugarmill Woods Country Club.
Marjorie is survived by her husband of 59 years Ronald B. Tobin of Homosassa; son Ronald B. Tobin, Jr of Homosassa; daughters Darcy (Tom) Elder of Columbus, OH, Kathy Elliot of Columbus; Merri Lee (Jack) Pyle of Sugar Grove, OH and Denise Lassiter of Lincoln Park, MI; sisters Janice Pichler and Linda Bronson of San Antonio, TX; 14 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son Brian Tobin.
A celebration of Life for Marjorie will be held from 2 p.m. until 4 p. m., Friday, Sept. 24th at the Sugarmill Woods Country Club. Donations in memory of Marjorie can be made to the American Cancer Society, Ovarian Cancer Research.
