Marvin H. Hines, Jr.

A proud native Floridian of Dade City, FL, Marvin was the son of the late Marvin Hughes Hines, Sr. and Ada Mae Mansell Hines. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Alice Elizabeth Davidson and his brother David E. Hines. Marvin attended Florida Southern College and served in the U.S. Army National Guard. His interests included his family and friends, his church, fishing and golf.

Marvin is survived by his wife of 37 years, Mary Freds Hines; his sons, John Hines, Richard Hines and Randy Hines, a stepson Robert Hines and his many grandchildren.

Visitation begins at 9:30 a.m. and a memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, November 6, 2014 at Wilder Funeral Home, 4890 S. Suncoast Blvd., Homosassa, FL 34446 with Pastors Doug Derespiris and Mike Brown officiating. A graveside burial service will follow at 2:30 p.m. at Townsend House Cemetery, 31107 Blanton Road, Dade City, FL 33523.
