Ramona S. "Sue" Knight

Ramona S. “Sue” Knight, 75, of Homosassa, FL, passed away on Wed., June 15, 2016 at HPH Hospice Care Center in Brooksville, FL. A native of Indianapolis, IN, she was born Sept. 20, 1940 to Earl and Faye (Skaggs) Eggers, one of two children. Sue, as she was known to many, was the former owner and operator, along with her late husband William Knight, Jr., of Knights Auto Parts in Brooksville. Her working life also entailed working for Spartan Electronics in Brooksville as well as an employee of Proline Boats, Homosassa. Mrs. Knight was also a certified nursing assistant. She moved here in 1971 from her native Indianapolis and is survived by her ten children: Gary (wife Terri) Lewis, Chassahowitzka, FL; Pamela Champion (husband Leo), Homosassa; Cheryl Whitaker, Ruskin, FL; Paula Knight, Sacramento, CA; Gerrie Sue Sisson, Chassahowitzka; Mickie Lewis, Ruskin, FL; Willitte Knight, Homosassa; Terri Rushing (husband Gerald Willard), Beverly Hills, FL; Ramona Raven, Chassahowitzka and William Knight III, also of Chassahowitzka; sister Sharon Wycoff, Indianapolis, IN; 23 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, William L. Knight, Jr. on Feb. 9, 2014, and a son, Scott Knight. Friends will be received on Sun., June 19, 2016 from 1:30 to 3:00 p.m. at Wilder Funeral Home, Homosassa, FL, where a chapel service will take place at 3:00 P.M. with Pastor George Dehn, House of Power Church, Hernando, FL. officiating.
