

Robert Howard Wollinger, 83, of Homosassa, FL, passed away on Sun., July 30, 2023 at Vitas Healthcare in Lecanto, FL. A native of Tilton-Northfield, NH, he was born April 17, 1940 to Howard and Helen (Neilson) Wollinger. Mr. Wollinger was a graduate of Tilton-Northfield High School, where he was Valedictorian; president of his class, and a member of their basketball team. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from University of New Hampshire. Bob, as he was known to many, enjoyed a long 32 year career with AT&T Communications, retiring as a Director of Information Exchange. Mr. Wollinger also served on the Board of Directors of AT&T Communications in New York. He was a member of Rotary and an elder in the Presbyterian Church. Bob was a past governor of Youth and Government in New Hampshire and a longtime volunteer at The Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, FL. He loved coaching youth baseball, collecting antiques and the game of bridge. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Suzanne Hill Wollinger. Bob is survived by his loving wife, Nancy Adair Noyes-Wollinger; children Dawn Leigh Wollinger Hauck, Michael Robert Wollinger, Kimberly Wollinger Kaufman, Keri Wollinger Madland, John Talmage and Layne Adair Cheek; sister Virginia Wollinger Fisher (husband Lloyd) and many grandchildren.
