

Stanley Roy Tripp, 94 of Lecanto, Fl (former long time Pine Ridge resident) died Sunday, Dec. 18, 2011. He was born Nov. 15, 1917 in Ontario, Canada the son of late Sherman and Ada Tripp. Stanley was a Design Engineer Supervisor For Eastman Kodak Co. in Rochester, NY and retired to Pine Ridge in 1979. He was an Army Veteran of WWII and a proud member of the American Legion Post 155, while serving for many years on the American Legion Honor Guard. He was also a former member of the Pine Ridge Volunteer Fire Dept., Crystal River Sertoma Club and a Red Cross trained life guard for the city of Beverly Hills. He was preceded in death by his loving wife Elsa M. Tripp in 2006.
Stanley is survived by his daughters Trudy Farrell, Frieda Shannon, Christine (and Colin) of Rochester, NY and Dawn (and John) Crowley of Long Island, NY: his son Harold (and Debra) Casey of Brockport, NY: his daughter Elsa Jo (and Harry) Gottfried of Inverness, FL: 13 Grandchildren (Tyler, Patrick, Jim, Lisa, Sarah, Amanda, Becky, Charles, Carrie, Cynthia, Elizabeth, Heather and Julia); 7 great grandchildren and 2 sisters. Stanley appreciated all the care he and his wife received while living at Brentwood, and we thank you so very much. We would also like to thank Hospice of Citrus County for Stanley's care while at Brentwood. A Funeral service to be held 11 AM on January 14th 2012 at Fero Memorial Garden in Beverly Hills.
