Susie Whitaker, 66, of Crystal River, Florida, passed away on Saturday, Dec. 29, 2012 at her home. A native of Marion County, Indiana, she was born Oct. 15, 1946 to George and Emma (Stringer) Allender, one of two children. Mrs. Whitaker moved to Citrus County 44 years ago from the Indianapolis, Indiana area and was emplyoyed by Timber Ridge Health and Rehab Center in Ocala, Florida for the past ten years as a medical billing clerk. Susie is survived by children Donald Whitaker and his wife Terri, Homosassa, FL; Jon Whitaker and his wife Chris, Crystal River, Fl and Mike Whitaker; sister Judy Leiviska, Indianapolis, IN; grandchildren Donnie, Erica, Emma, Cody, Casey and Victoria and great granddaughter Ava.
