Adam "Boy" K. Halemano Jr., 56, of Hilo, staff employee at Keaukaha Elementary School and a former Young Brothers employee for 23 years, died October 12, 2010 in Kailua. He was an active PTA member at the school and a member of the Keaukaha Sports. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by wife, Linda Halemano from Honolulu; son Adam (Francis) Halemano Jr. from California, (Lolita Markus, mother from Honolulu); daughters, Tiffany Halemano and Ashley Halemano from Honolulu; brothers Harry Halemano and James Chung from Honolulu; sisters, Annie (James) Coffey from Georgia, Caroline (George) Scott, Susan (William) Brown, Lucky Tangaro from Hilo, Dora (Darrell) Manalo from Honolulu, Gaynelle (Kalani) Freitas from Kailua-Kona, Sammy-Lee (Leonard) Fowler from Las Vegas, Cindy Green from California and Florence (Wealey) Yogi from Honolulu; mother, Clara Chung from Honolulu, and 3 grandchildren Taylor Kai, Trinity and Payces and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation 5:00 p.m. Friday, November 5th at Borthwick Mortuary Maunakea Chapel; service 6:30 p.m.; visitation also 9:00 a.m. Saturday, November 6th at Borthwick Mortuary Maunakea Chapel; service 11:00 a.m.; burial 1:00 p.m. at Valley of the Temples. Casual/aloha attire. Arrangements under the direction of Borthwick Mortuary, Honolulu, HI.
