

four generations, and friend Alma Harriet Kaiulani Bartels Kaulu Kealoha who
went home to be with our lord and savior on Saturday August 4, 2012. She was
born on January 18, 1925 to William and Annabelle Bartels from Waiohinu,
Kau, Hawaii. She worked for the U.S. Engineering Dept. in WWII, became an
usherette at the Waikiki-Kuhio Theaters and retired as a Homemaker from
the State of Hawaii Dept. of Social Services after 22 years of service.
Throughout her lifetime she has been active in sports such as in bowling
leagues (HGEA, Aiea, & UPW), rowing for the Healani Canoe Club as
the #6 seat, softball for the Manoa Valley Softball League, and also played
Volleyball for the Halawa and Fire Dept. Leagues. She was a member of the
Waimanalo Senior Citizens & Alulike Clubs and the Honolulu Fire Department
Auxillary.
She is survived by her loving husband, Paul H. Kealoha, Children; Marilyn
Umble-Kim (Harry) of Waimanalo, HI; Lanette Puanani Moleta (Harry) of
Waipahu, HI; William "Billy" Kaulu (Diana) of Waipahu, HI; John Kaulu
(Aloha) of Kailua, HI; Allan K. Kealoha of Las Vegas, NV and Paulie Johnson
(Rayvon) of Farmville, VA, 28 Grandchildren, 57 Great Grandchildren, 10
Great-Great Grandchildren; two sisters, Helene "Blue" Suganuma (Herbert) and
Harriet (Pinky) Mariani, Cousins, Nieces, and Nephews.
