Beatrice Abadilla

Mom’s funeral service will be held on January 23, 2026, at Borthwick Mortuary, the Maunakea Chapel. The address is 1330 Maunakea St. in Honolulu. Burial Service to follow at Hawaiian Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mom was born in Pukoo, Molokai on August 27, 1940. She was the daughter of the Late Carlos Benedito and the Late Takino (Fujita) Benedito. She earned her degree in bookkeeping from Honolulu Community College. She worked at home as a babysitter for 10+ years. Mom was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. She enjoyed family time, playing cards, sewing, and cooking.

She married Dad, the Late Paulino Abadilla, on November 21, 1959. Mom , survived by her daughters Donna Johnson (m. Eric) and Carolyn Felix (m. Late Gary) and her son, Andrew Abadilla Sr. (m. Yvette). Also, she is survived by 15 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Mom has eight siblings. The siblings that are here on earth with us are: Aunty Rose Omalsa (m. Late Uncle William), Aunty Ellie Keanini (m. Uncle Milton Sr.), Uncle Roy Benedito (m. Aunty June), and Uncle Leo Benedito (m. Aunty Marilyn). And Mom joined these siblings in Heaven: Late Uncle Phillip Benedito (m. Aunty Emelia), Late Aunty Lourdes Fujimoto (m. Late Uncle Masao), Late Aunty Carol Kawano (m. Late Uncle Dao), and Late Aunty Jeanette Arellano (m. Late Uncle Zosimo). She is also joining her sons, Paul Gene Abadilla and David Abadilla.
