She was a devoted wife, a nurturing mother, and a cherished grandmother and great-grandmother whose presence brought warmth, strength, and laughter—often through her sharp wit and humor—to all who knew her.
She is survived by her children: Lorie, Michael Jr. (Priscilla), Joseph, Susan, Patrick (Kathleen), and Steven (Laurie); grandchildren: Kyla, Julia, Kelsey, Alexandra, Dominic, Paul, Gianna, and Danielle; great-grandchild: Alaina; future great-grandchildren; and her sisters: Sandra, Elaine, and Gail.
Ella was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 60 years, Michael Sr.; her parents, Lucio and Gertrude; and her brother, Al.
As the founder and CEO of Creative Planners of Hawaii, Ella poured her creativity and passion into designing unforgettable weddings and celebrations. Her eye for detail and genuine care for others made her a beloved figure in the community and a trusted guide through life’s most joyful milestones.
Private services will be held in accordance with Ella’s wishes. In her memory, may we honor her legacy by praying the Our Father and by living each day with compassion, care, and kindness towards each other
