FRANCIS “STRETCH” PUAHAAHEO WONG, 74, of Kaneohe, passed away December 30, 2011 in Kailua. Born May 13, 1937, he was a retired Plant Maintenance Supervisor for the Board of Water Supply and a graduate of St. Louis College, Class of 1955.
He is survived by wife, Barbara; daughter, Rhanda (Del) Beazley; sons, Lance Wong, Randy (Lyndel) Wong; mother, Mildred Sakai Wong; brothers, Timmy (Wanda) Wong and Larry Wong; grandchildren, Kahale (Malia) and Nalei Beazley, Kara, Randi and Rylie Wong; great-grandchildren, Mikeila, Aria and Jayden Beazley.
Visitation will be from 10:30-11:45 a.m. Saturday, January 21, 2012, at St. Ann Catholic Church, 46-129 Haiku Road, Kaneohe. Mass wil be celebrated at 12 noon. Committal services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, January 23, 2012, at Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery. Casual attire is suggested.
