Gloria Domingo Bonilla

With deep sorrow, we announce the passing of Gloria Domingo Bonilla, a devoted wife, loving mother, and caring grandmother, who passed on to be in the Kingdom of God at the age of 70 on June 1, 2025, in Ewa Beach, Hawaii. Born on November 27, 1954, in Bacarra Ilocos Norte, Philippines, Gloria was a steadfast beacon of faith in God and selfless love for her family and everyone who knew her.

A faithful servant of God, Gloria's unwavering faith could not be shaken by adversity. She dedicated her life to her family, providing constant support and a warm, comforting presence. Gloria found immense joy in her children's accomplishments, and her greatest pride lay in her beloved children: Christopher, Gina, and Shirley, as well as her 10 cherished grandchildren: Jocelyn Celeste Oshiro, Christian-James Bonilla, Christina Joy Bonilla, Jasmine Claire Bonilla, Angelina Hokulani Shapiro, Gabriel Shapiro, Krystal Shapiro, Sophia Grace Nacapuy, Liam Philip Nacapuy, and Lucas Gene Nacapuy.

For nearly 15 years, Gloria served as a caregiver, touching the lives of many with her compassion and dedication. She is survived by her loving husband, Romeo Mendoza Bonilla, and her children: Christopher Domingo Bonilla (daughter-in-law Julie C. Bonilla), Gina Bonilla Shapiro (son-in-law Kaehu J. Shapiro), and Shirley Bonilla Nacapuy (son-in-law Gerold B. Nacapuy).
