

Harold K Crowell Jr. “Uncle Boy” joined Mary Ann his beloved wife of 51 years on June 26, 2017. Born March 20, 1936 in Honolulu, Hawaii to Harold Crowell Sr. and Bernice Pa Namaka. Graduate of Kaimuki High School Class of ’54. He worked as an operating engineer and retired from the Carpenter’s Union after 30+ years.
Aside from his career he was an active member in his community. He was a member of the Waimanalo Senior Citizens Club, Waimanalo Hawaiian Homestead Association, and the Waimanalo Neighborhood Watch.
To cherish his memories, he left behind Sister: Jean Viela, Brother Waylen Arruda and Brother-in-Law: Claudio Borge,, Sons: James “Kimo”, Harold “Red”, Dean (Monica), and Daughter: Mary Ann “Lani” (Chu) Kang, Hanai Daughters Nanette (Harley) Hee and Pearl (Dom) Baenchatha, 18 grandchildren: Wayne, Darren Nohara, Harold, Alexsis, Kalani, Van, Chevelle, Jarad, JoDean Rapanot, Jarron, Boyd, Jimmy, Jelly, Jenna, Royal, Serynity, Tahiti, and Orimai, 16 great-grandchildren, along with many nieces and nephews.
Celebration of Life will be held at Borthwick Mortuary Maunakea/Vineyard Chapel,1330 Maunakea St, Honolulu, HI 96817, on July 29, 2017. Visitation 9:30 AM, Service 11 AM.
Burial will follow at 3 PM at Hawaiian Memorial Park Cemetery.
