Harriett was born in Hilo, Hawaii on November 5, 1946. Preceded in death by her parents, Violet and Edwin. Harriett is survived by her daughter Kelly, her sister Edwina, nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, grand-nephews, cousins and friends.

Harriett is a graduate of Kamehameha school, class of 1964.

She worked for most of her adult life at Hawaiian Telcom. In over 35 years she held positions like Telephone Operator, Accounting, and Coin collector.

In 1967 she had her daughter, Kelly.

In 2002, after over 36 years with Hawaiian Tel, she retired and began working part-time at Roosevelt High School as an Administrative Assistant.

Once she retired from Roosevelt in 2019, she spent most of her time at home with her pets.

We are all kaumaha (sad) of the passing of Harriett, who was also known to many as Cookie. Let us all remember, love is not limited by time and space, and goodbyes are for those who love only with their eyes. For those who love with their heart and soul, there is no such thing as separation.
