JAMES JOHN WATERS, RET CHIEF MASTER SERGEANT, USAF, 84, of Honolulu, died January 30, 2012 at St. Francis Hospice. Born in South Hampton, Long Island New York. Retired from the United States Air Force, worked for the Civil Service and HMSA. Member of the Knights of Columbus 4 Degree.
Survived by his wife, Janet; son James Joseph (Debbie)Waters; daughters, Julia (Albert) Medeiros and Jessica Sphar; 12 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren.
Visitation 5:30 to 8 p.m. Thursday (Feb. 23) Holy Family Catholic Church; mass 7:00 p.m.; burial 10:30 a.m. Friday (Feb.24) National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific. Aloha attire.
