Jean Marie Darling

She graduated from Maryknoll High School in 1969 and continued her education at the University of Hawaii and then at Modesto Jr. College in Modesto California.

She had a long work history in the medical profession doing everything from appointment scheduling to billing and loved helping people.

In 1997, she returned to Hawaii and went to work for the Arcadia Retirement Residence where she worked as a supervisor of the office and reception staff. Her duties included supervising the security staff and completing performance evaluations among other duties.

It gave my sister great pleasure for years as a justice of the peace marrying many happy couples.

She returned to the east coast where she stayed true to her passion and went to work as a Certified Health Unit Coordinator at the Dover Rehabilitation and Living Center in New Hamsphire.

She made several trips back to Hawaii over the years and wished to be with her family when she passed away.

She leaves behind her love Mr. Charles Cochrane, a sister Nan Nishihara, a brother Robert P. K. Andrade, and step mother Susan Andrade, along with aunties and many, many cousins.

She will be sadly missed but we take comfort in knowing that she is at peace now and will not suffer anymore.
