Graduated from Kalani High School and the University of Hawaii. Attended George Washington University in Washington D.C. Held degrees in Math and Philosophy but made her career as a Computer Programmer starting with Douglas Aircraft Co. in Los Angeles and worked for several companies including Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC), Infonet, and CACI. Met and married Melvin Isamu Hosaka from Honolulu, HI. Survived by husband of 55 years, Melvin Hosaka, daughter Keli Hosaka and her boyfriend Derrick Tam, sister Jessie McKamey, and numerous loving family members and friends. Jeri enjoyed good food, traveling, playing video games, watching K-dramas and supporting UH Volleyball. Memorial services in Hawaii are TBD.
