John Gaston Daunie, Sr., 79, of Kaneohe, Hawaii, passed away on April 29, 2016 at the Kaiser Foundation Hospital. He was born in West Wego, Louisiana. Mr. Daunie served in the Navy and was a Retired Hawaiian Telephone Switch Technician. He is survived by his wife, Shirley Daunie; son, John, Jr.; daughters, Glenda Passas and Terry Sherbert; 4 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be held on May 13, 2016 at Borthwick Mortuary - Mauka Chapel. Visitation will be at 4:30pm and service will begin at 5:30pm. Inunrment will be held on May 19, 2016 at Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery at 10:00am.
Casual attire suggested.
