Miss Marie was an amazing lady.  We worked together in the DCSOPS Section of U.S. Army, Pacific, for over ten years; she was there much longer.  Marie was a  cheerful, loyal member of the USARPAC team, and  I will always remember her for the things she did not do, for example, never spoke negatively about another person, never missed a day of work, or was even late, and she did not complain.  Even though I considered myself in relatively good physical condition, I was always amazed at how briskly she walked.  Periodically we would walk together to the Post Theater for a mandatory event, and I had trouble keeping up with her.  Marie was extremely proud of her son Leo, and the fact that he was a Notre Dame graduate, daughter Colleen for aquatic accomplishments and her young grandson. Anne and I were saddened to learn of your Mother's passing.  Marie was a gracious lady, friend, and an extraordinary assistant to me for three years when I worked at Fort Shafter nearly 20 years ago.  We kept in touch over many years until most recently when we lost contact.  She often spoke proudly of you and the support you gave her.  You have our most sincere condolences.

Aloha Sister Colleen n Aaron, Its a day that will be cherished forever, until U r called to reunite w Mom. Mom was so loved by both of U, n i was blessed to have her in our Ohana. Thank U for all the times U brought her to share special occasions w Us, she was a pleasant person...full of life. And she lived it all the way. 
My heart hurts but its so wonderful to know that she has gone to be w our Lord n Savior Jesus.
